1. Registration Update: Attention all students. American History 20G is missing from the options section of the registration forms that were handed out on Thursday. This course is available on the Powerschool version of the registration that you will be submitting online.
2. Attention all students (grades 9-12) – Considering a career in interior design or a related field? There will be brief information sessions on Tues, Feb 7 at the beginning of each lunch period (4&5) in N248. Come learn about the various careers in interior design, educational requirements, essential skills, work environment, and more! Bring your lunch and a friend.
3. Students in Mrs. Granda's first semester classes have until 4:00 Friday to pick up their projects or they will be recycled.
4. Italy Tour Participants: Please remember to drop off your tip monies to Mr. Friesen by the end of this week. Also, if you have a partner you would like to be roomed with while on tour, be sure to let Mr. Friesen know by Friday!
5. Sign up your doubles team for intramural badminton on the Intramural bulletin board (close to Mr Neufeld's office). Students, staff, female, male are all encourage to sign up. League starts on Monday during period 5.
6. The Guidance Department would like to run a group to support students who are feeling stressed and/or anxious. If you may be interested in being part of a Stress/Anxiety educational support group that meets once every two weeks, please speak to your guidance counselor.
7. Winkler Skating Club is hosting the Provincial Meet on March 3. If you would like to sing "O Canada" at the opening ceremonies please contact Mrs. Thorleifson today in W27.
8. All semester 1 Family Studies and CHD 30/40S students, please pick up projects in W25 before February 11th, 2012 - Mrs. Breiter"
9. Eric Olfert and Dennis Spies please return your math textbooks to Mr Giesbrecht or Ms V ASAP.
10. Send a Crush Can and note to your special someone! On sale Feb. 6-9 periods 4 & 5 in front of the office. Make sure you know your crush's period 2 class!
11. On Feb 9th, put on your favourite (or ugliest) sweater as we will be turning the heat down a few degrees to help WWF
take action against climate change, and work toward a sustainable future. Prizes will be given away for the ugliest sweater!
