GRAD PARADE AND FIREWORKS

Wednesday, June 18, 2025 (Rain date Thursday, June 19, 2025)

Grads are asked to register by June 16th. Online registration can be found on Teams.

• For all GVSD catchment grads.
• Grads are asked to enter the parade marshalling area from the Grandeur entrance between 6:30 - 7:15 pm. Grads will be lined up on a first come, first serve basis. 
• Parade starts at 7:30pm at the Winkler Park
•  The parade is NOT run by the school.  It is run by a group of parents from our After Grad Committee.

• There will be Fireworks on the parade night for all Grads. Grads can meet at NPC between 10-10:30 pm. Fireworks will be close to 11 pm.

GRADUATION CEREMONY REHEARSAL

Tuesday, June 24th 9:00am-11:30am at Winkler Mennonite Church, 31 Willowdale Crescent

• Attendance is MANDATORY if you plan on attending the graduation ceremony on June 25th.
• Students must arrive by 8:45am as we will start PROMPTLY at 9am

GRADUATION BANQUET REHEARSAL

Tuesday, June 24th 11:30am-12:30pm

• Garden Valley Collegiate, in the Zone
• Grad ceremony tickets and banquet tickets will be distributed at GVC after the banquet rehearsal.
• Grad grad cap and gowns will also be given out at GVC after the banquet rehearsal.

GRADUATION CEREMONY

 Wednesday, June 25th at 1:00pm

• This year's ceremony will take place at Winkler Mennonite Church, 31 Willowdale Crescent, Winkler
• Graduates need to be at the church by 12:15pm
• Doors open for families at 12:30pm
• 6 tickets per graduate will be provided (at grad rehearsal June 24th) There is NO COST for ceremony tickets.
• A livestream link will be added to this page closer to the date. 

GRADUATION BANQUET

Wednesday, June 25th 6:00pm in The Zone

• Doors open for seating and pictures at 5:00pm
• Banquet begins at 6:00pm
• Students can purchase up to 4 tickets  for the banquet, this number includes the graduate. Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased during our Grad Blitz, March 17th-20th in the office via debit, cash or cheque. Cheques can be made out to Garden Valley School Division (GVSD)
