2024-2025 Registration at
GVC
While it seems like we just
started Semester 2, it’s already time to consider registration for next year at
GVC!
Our Guidance Counsellors
have been busy visiting current Grade 8 students at our feeder schools. Grade 8
students should all have received a Registration Package to help them feel
prepared and confident as they prepare to become Grade 9 students.
Current Grade 9-11 students
at GVC will have 2 Homerooms in the first week of March to guide them through
their registration process.

invited to come to GVC to hear about the registration process and what to
expect in Grade 9.

Current grade 9-11 students at GVC will have time in their Connection
groups (Period 1 class) to learn about the registration process.

GVC Course Expo
Grade 8 classes come tour through
the GVC gym and view displays for each of the courses offered at GVC. Students
have the opportunity to interact with teachers and ask questions about the
courses to ensure it is the right fit for them. Families are also welcome during this time!
Grade 9-11 students will be scheduled throughout Periods 2 & 3.

(Some classes will register on the 6th, some will register
on the 7th)

Registration for Grade 9
GVC Guidance will visit Grade 8
classes to help students input their Grade 9 course selections online, using
Power School.
