Parent Advisory Council

All parents are invited to attend the GVC Advisory Council meetings. The meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:15 am at the school. Please RVSP to Co-chairs Barb Heide ([email protected]) or Marlena Friesen ([email protected]). Thank you for your willingness to participate in these meetings.

The role of the GVC Advisory Council is to provide input and bring the perspective of various interest groups (parents, students, Student Council, teaching staff, and community members) to the proceedings and decision-making processes undertaken by GVC administration.

The GVCAC Annual General Meeting takes place in early October of each school year. At this time various reports are presented and elections are held to elect a new chair, vice-chair and secretary. A teacher representative is appointed by the school administration. A final official position is reserved for a member of the GVC Student Council.
